Oe-Cusse – The students of ISFIT and UNWIRA, as part of the International Research Team of 2024, organized an international seminar with the community in Numbei, Oe-Cusse. The seminar took place on November 23, 2024, in the parochial hall of Our Lady of Rosário, Numbei.
Based on the general topic for this year’s international research, “Instilling the Moral Values of Catholic Marriage for the People of Sacato, Wini,” the speakers for this important seminar were Father Rui Asamau, Father António Quencer do Balino Carmo, and Father Yudha, each sharing their own sub-topic.
The first speaker, Father Rui Asamau, a delegate of the Oe-Cusse Forane Vicariate, shared his insights on the sub-topic “The Family Represents the Presence of the Trinity on Earth.” The second speaker, Father António Quencer, in line with the general topic, discussed “Catholic Marriage Follows the Teachings of the Holy Bible.” The final speaker, Father Yudha, presented on “Ethics in Catholic Marriage According to Philosophical Thought: A Review of Normative Ethics.”
The event provided a valuable opportunity for the exchange of ideas and the strengthening of community bonds. Participants engaged in meaningful discussions and gained new perspectives on the importance of moral values in Catholic marriage. Such initiatives not only enhance academic learning but also promote social cohesion and cultural understanding within the community.
