Oe-Cusse – Students of ISFIT organized a public speaking competition as part of their non-academic program during the International Research and Community Service initiative. The event was held on November 20, 2024, at the parochial stage in Numbei.
The central theme of the competition was “Instilling the Moral Values of Catholic Marriage.” Participants included students from ISFIT and UNWIRA, who showcased their speech skills and explored the significance of Catholic teachings on marriage, focusing on values like commitment, love, and faithfulness.
The panelist for the competition comprised Father Patris Alegro and Professor Ligório Borromeu, who brought their expertise in theology and moral philosophy to evaluate the participants.
In addition to promoting public speaking skills, the competition aimed to foster deeper understanding and dialogue among students about Catholic values and their relevance in modern society. The event also served as a platform for cultural exchange and collaboration between ISFIT and UNWIRA students, strengthening the bonds between the institutions. (Research Team)
