Oe-Cusse (17-11-2024) β The research team from ISFIT and UNWIRA held their first meeting with student researchers. The meeting focused on group classification, resulting in the formation of three groups: the Philosophy Group, the Theology Group, and the Research Group.
During the sharing session, the research team and lecturers encouraged students by sharing their experiences and extensive knowledge to prepare them before field activities. This meeting aimed to provide a solid foundation and address to all the students’ questions.
This meeting was essential for aligning expectations and ensuring all participants were well informed and ready to face upcoming challenges. The collaboration between ISFIT and UNWIRA demonstrates a continued commitment to academic excellence and the practical skill development of students.
The research team reminded the students that they had already acquired theoretical knowledge during their academic studies. Now, in this valuable moment, they will have the opportunity to see, feel, and reflect on the lived realities of Oe-Cusse. They will engage with the faithful to learn about and share the moral values of Catholic marriage.
This practical experience offers a unique opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world context, observing how teachings manifest in the daily lives of families. Direct interaction with the community will provide a deeper and more authentic understanding of local challenges and needs.
The research team expressed their hope that this experience will strengthen the studentsβ academic training and enrich their personal growth, fostering a holistic education that extends beyond the classroom. They are confident that the studentsβ commitment and dedication will significantly contribute to pastoral work and the well-being of families in Oe-Cusse. (Research Team of ISFIT)
